Golf Beer Brewing Co is the brainchild of Freddie Jacobson, Graeme McDowell, and Keegan Bradley. The Swede, Irishman and American partnered with the brew masters at Lakeland, Florida’s Brew Hub to come up with cold ones suited to their individual drinking preferences- a process as lengthy as getting fit for a full set of clubs just with all that swinging substituted by chugging. The result is a first round of releases featuring Freddie’s Scandinavian Blonde Ale, G Mac’s Celtic Style Pale Ale and Keegan’s New England Style Lager. All three are easy drinking, refreshing, approachable 4.5-5% craft brews that are light enough to guzzle at the turn without derailing your aim game. The initial draft and 12-ounce can rollout will hit golf clubs and restaurants in the Sunshine state with plans to broaden distribution within a year.
“I’m a professional golfer with my own New England craft beer. How good is that” Keegan Bradley deadpans in the promo video while wearing a Boston Bruins cap to lay the regional-cred on thick.
