The Caddy Girls rake sand, wash balls, fetch beers and can act as your designated cart driver if you’ve had too many. They perform their duties while tarted up in tight outfits and knee high argyle socks and service goes for about $150 per round and is available on courses in ten markets including South Carolina, Florida, and Arizona. They are going on Shark Tank tonight (ABC/ 9 p.m.). Founder Meghan Tarmey conceived of the business nine years back while she was a college cheerleader at Coastal Carolina. She was working part time as a shooter girl at Club Kryptonite when a random guy propositioned her to join his foursome. By that he meant drive his cart during his golf outing the following day with his buddies. She politely declined the out of left field offer but the seed for her caddie babe biz sprouted that evening.
We’ll find out tonight if Mark Cuban or any of the other sharks bit off a piece of The Caddie Girls business.
