After messing up a birdie opportunity on No.5 at Quail Hollow, in the second round of the Wells Fargo Championship, Zac Blair took his anger out on his putter, headbutting it with such fury that the shaft bent out of shape violating rule Rule 4-3b. Zac did have a good sense of humor about the disqualifying debacle, tweeting this after self reporting the headbanging incident t to a rules official:
For the record my putter is very very slightly bent... Not broken. And I'm gonna drop some blowsnakes next week with it!
